JAMB has now officially announce the release of UTME 2013 result for the 2012 JAMB UTME examination. Some of the result are now online at the JAMB UTME Result Checking website. You can check your UTME result at the result checker website. Note that the JAMB result online now are not final. So, even after checking your result now you may need to confirm it later when applying for post UTME.

What follows is the announcement for the 2011 UTME release of result
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has officially announced the release of the results of Jamb UTME 2011. Although more candidates scored 200 and above in UTME result this year compared to last year(597,494 vs 501,000), Jamb UTME results for 2011 is slightly poorer than JAMB UTME 2010 results with around 40% getting 200 and above while last year saw over 41% getting 200 and above. According to the breakdown of the JAMB result 842,851 got below 200.

Some of the JAMB UTME results have been uploaded, while most of it are still being uploaded. To check your JAMB UTME 2011 results visit, www.jamb.org.ng/Unifiedtme/Default.aspx. You require your PIN, Reg No., or Serial No. to check your JAMB UTME 2011 result.
Here is the breakdown of JAMB UTME 2011:
- No. of candidates that sat for Jamb UTME 2011: 1,493,604
- No. that scored 200 and above: 597,494 (~40%)
- No. of UTME candidates scoring 200 - 249: 495,426
- No. of UTME candidates scoring 250 - 269: 67,732
- No. of UTME candidates scoring 270 - 299: 31,444
- No. of UTME candidates scoring above 300: 2,892
- No. of UTME candidates scoring below 200: 842,851
- No. of UTME candidates scoring below 170: 201,798
- No. of UTME candidates scoring 170 - 199: 641,143
- No. of UTME candidates with invalid or incomplete results: 28,069
- No. of UTME results withheld for malpractice: 15,160
- No. of UTME results being investigated: 7,504
- percentage incidence of exam malpractice: 1.01%

Even though the website is opening, no access to the window provided for logging in the pin or the serial number. Please, JAMB, do something about this or else this whole exercise of checking on line will be meaningless.
IF A RESULT SAYS UR RESULT HAS BEEN WITHELD 4 FURTHER SCREENING, WAT DOES IT IMPLIES.
Try using Firefox. Also remember that the site is built with Java so you need a Java Runtime (version 1.6 and above) installed on your system to properly access it.
7,504 results were withheld for further screening. These are results suspected for malpractice. After passing through JAMB's investigation process, results of candidates that are proven not to be involved in exam malpractice will be released, while the rest will be seized.

What criteria do you think will be more appropriate for further screening? Please make sure that innocent candidates are not punished unjustly.Verify with reliable tools. I can not afford to stay at home any longer after scoring 248 last year and resiting again in 2011
