Nokia Android Phones
Although Nokia X runs Android, it is not Google’s Android. Instead, Nokia has heavily customised the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to build its own Android called the Nokia X OS. However, Nokia X will support over 70% of current Android apps. It will not support the Google Play store, instead Nokia will offer a store with all supported apps.
The Nokia X 1.0 OS will be running on a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage. The phone will be coming with services from Microsoft and Nokia. Microsoft’s OneDrive will be the default cloud storage service, while Nokia’s Here Maps will be the default mapping app. BBM and Skype will also be available for the Nokia X.
