Launched at the same time as the HTC One M9+, the HTC One E9+ is to a great extent comparable to the latest flagship from the Taiwanese manufacturer, HTC. The Android smartphone flaunts an impressive display and a very responsive processor, while also offering significant level of customisation.
Screen and Camera
The HTC One E9+ features a striking 5.5-inch IPS display with a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels – similar to the screen on the new One M9+. The display has a density of 534 pixels per inch.
What this means is that you will be able to enjoy a great viewing experience, especially with the use of Dolby Audio technology on the smartphone. On the camera side, the HTC One E9+ packs a massive 20MP main camera with LED flash, which even photography pros will certainly admire.
There is also a 4MP UltraPixel shooter on the front of the device for decent selfies.
Processor, Memory and Software
As a sign that the HTC One E9+ is designed for a responsive performance, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor running at 2GHz, backed by 3GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 graphics processor.
The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD slot. The One E9+ runs on HTC’s own Sense 7 UI, which is based on the latest Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The user interface gives users enhanced customisation capability.
Other Specs and Features
HTC One E9+ is supplied with a 2800mAh battery, which has slightly less capacity than the one on the HTC One M9+. It boasts 4G network connectivity and the renowned HTC BoomSound speakers on the front, backed by Dolby Audio technology.
The 7.5mm-thin smartphone features GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP and apt-X, microUSB 2.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Some models of the HTC One E9+ may support two SIMs.
Pricing & Availability
HTC One E9+ phablet is not yet available in Nigeria and for now is bound only to China. We have no information on pricing and availability for Nigeria, but if and when available, you can buy this phablet at leading online stores in the country.
