The Design
Innjoo Fire is below the Innjoo One in the Innjoo’s line of Android smartphones. It is fatter and heavier than InnJoo One, but its expected cheaper pricing and possibly better battery life should more than make up for it.
That said, the Innjoo Fire offers an elegant design with colourful polycarbonate shells in classic black, elegant white, luxury gold, or natural bamboo yellow.
The Display & Camera
Innjoo Fire sports a 5-inch IPS display with wide viewing angles for a decent viewing experience. The display offers 540 x 960 pixels resolution with multi-touch to up to 5 touch points.
The 5 megapixels rear camera might not look so impressive because Innjoo have already spoiled us with the 13 megapixels camera on the innjoo One, but considering the price the Innjoo Fire is expected to go for and the target audience, it is a pretty good deal.
If you are discouraged about the rear camera, the front facing 5 megapixels camera is probably going to cheer you up. With a 5 megapixels camera you can take brilliant selfies and wefies that you can share with your friends on social media.
The Hardware & Software
Innjoo Fire runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. With these under the hood, the Innjoo Fire should offer a smooth performance. It sports a 16GB built-in storage, which you can extend by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Pricing and availability
Innjoo Fire will be launching in Nigeria on Thursday, May 21, 2015 and will go on sale exclusively on Jumia Nigeria on June 1, the first day of the Jumia Mobile Week Megathon. We have no official word on price, but we expect Innjoo Fire Price in Nigeria to range from N18,000 to N26,000 at launch. We will list the official price when we know more.
