Aquos BD80U LCD TV series is a range of LCD TV from Sharp electronics. Latest models of Sharp Aquos are full High Definition (HD) with 1080 progressive lines (1080p).
Sharp Aquos is digital transmission ready with one digital tuner. To support analogue transmissions Sharp Aquos is equipped with one analogue tuner. The tuner may support PAL, NTSC, or both depending on the model and country.
Sharp Aquos has three or four HDMI interfaces depending on model. Sharp Aquos 42-inch, Sharp LC-42BD80U, comes with 4 HDMI interfaces. This interface gives the full power of your DVD or Blu-ray player. Sharp LC-42BD80U comes with a built-in Blu-ray player.
Sharp Aquos reduces image blurring associated with fast moving images in LCD TV using 100Hz/120Hz fine motion advanced technology. Sharp Aquos comes with Stereo Reception System (SRS TruSurround XT).
Apart from the HDMI interface, Sharp Aquos also has many other interface options. This includes RGB, S-Video, composite input, audio-video (AV) input/output, headphone plug and so on.
