E-Mail in Business – The Cheapest Way for a Business

Best Freelancers to help you Grow your Business

The cheapest way for a business to start using internet technology is the email. The email is an internet technology that enables the exchange of messages between any person with a mailbox (also called email address) with any other person with a mailbox.

To use email you need an email address. You can go for free email services offered by large Internet Service Providers (ISPs) like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. Assuming you go for google mail (gmail) your address will look something like this [email protected].

You may also pay a premium price to get an address of the form [email protected]. This option is best for your business because it enables you identify your company name with your email. This option also gives you leverage to select any name for your email so long as yourcompanyname.com has not been taken by another person.

The email is a great business tool. It will enable the public (prospective customers) to communicate with your business. Customers can ask questions or make inquiries about your products and services. You can also communicate with clients (suppliers, insurer, banker, customers, etc) via email.

However, when using emails you must ensure that those whom you send email to, are aware that you have their addresses. This means that you send an email to someone who have sent an email to you in the past or someone who have given the email to you via an advert, letter, business card, etc.

Sending an email to someone who does not know you or someone who have not given you the permission to do so is called spam. Spamming is irritating to the recipient and hence is not good for your businesses’ image to send spam mails.

To send an email you need a computer and an internet connection. You can also send emails via Cyber cafes doted all over Nigeria.
