ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 is available in two main variants the ZenPad S 8.0 Z580CA, which is the highend model and the more affordable ZenPad S 8.0 Z580C.
Design and Display
Parading a metallic finish with a stylish hairline pattern, the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 features a slim profile, measuring just 6.6 millimetres (6.9mm for the Z580C) from the lower edge from the lower edge of seam on its rear to the screen.
The attractiveness of the slate, which weighs a manageable 317 grams (298g for the Z580CA), is further enhanced by its cool diamond-cut edges. The impressive design moves to the display, which is an 8-inch behemoth with breathtaking 2K resolution (1536 x 2048 pixels), and helped by ASUS’ VisualMaster visual enhancement suite.
With its IPS panel, the capacitive touchscreen promises enjoyable wide-angle viewing experience.
Camera and Storage
ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 packs in a 5-megapixel PixelMaster camera (8MP for the Z580CA) on the rear to enable you take amazing, high-resolution photos. The snapper is designed to help you capture top-quality images even in dark locations without using a flash.
There is equally a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. It is believed the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 will be available in three storage models: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. You will be able to expand internal storage memory with a microSD card.
