Design and Screen

Lenovo LaVie Z scores good points with its mobile design. It is awesomely lightweight at less than 1.9 pounds (0.86 kg) that you will be tempted to think it was constructed with plastic.

But Lenovo says the attractive laptop was built using “specialized magnesium-lithium” alloy, which is significantly lighter than aluminium. At its weight, the LaVie Z is even lighter than the highly-rated 12-inch Apple MacBook. You definitely will not be daunted carrying the notebook around.

In addition, it beats its MacBook rival with a larger 13.3 LED-backlit display. The matte screen boasts an amazing resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels for superb clarity and awesome colours.
