Design
Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 is a thin laptop with slim, lightweight and stylish build. This compact laptop comes with an elegant yet durable iconic dual-tone textured design which measures a dimension of around 0.68″ x 11.22″ x 7.98 inches and weighs around 1.2kg.
Being a convertible laptop the top lid and bottom chassis are held firmly together by a single rectangular 360° hinge which permits the display to be opened in the traditional laptop mode, a stand mode, a flat tablet mode, or a tent mode.
On the lid is Lenovo logo at the top left corner while on the right side is the chrome logo. when opened, the lid host a 11.6-inch display screen with thick bezel around it unlike most recently released laptops. The top bezel could be justified by the inserted 720p webcam however, the extra thick bottom bezel is quite outrageous.
Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 base chassis also hosts the full-sized backlit keyboard that is engineered for comfort and typing accuracy. This keyboard is also spill-resistant, with large, curved keycaps and comfortable 1.4 mm key travel distance for optimal typing comfort.
There is also a large touchpad below the keyboard that makes it even easier to be productive wherever you are with the one-piece design.
The Flex 3 has two USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 ports and two USB 3.1 Type-A Gen 1 ports (one on each side, as well as a microSD reader, an audio combo jack, and a Kensington lock slot.
