D780 has a 2.1” TFT, 262k colour display. This is a good quality display for viewing pictures and videos. The built-in 2.0 megapixel digital camera is good enough for taking pictures.
The dual-SIM feature is the great selling point of the D780. This feature enables a user to connect to two mobile networks at the same time, eliminating the need to carry more than one phone when travelling for business or pleasure.
Like in D880, one of the SIM interface in the D780, called the primary SIM is tri-band (900, 1800, and 1900Mhz) and can be used to access all GSM services. However, the second SIM called the secondary SIM is dual-band (900/1800 MHz) and supports only telephony and messaging services.
D780 comes with a built-in 80MB memory for storing your media (pictures and music). The memory is expandable to up to 2GB via a microSD expansion slot.
D780 supports GPRS but is not 3G enabled.
