To search for any information, simply send your search query to 4664. Just open the SMS editor on your mobile phone, type your search query ensuring that you include relevant keywords in your search term, and send to 4664.
You will receive your results/answers via SMS in minutes on your mobile phone. Although this service is free from Google, normal SMS charges from your network will apply for usage.
MTN is the only network that support Google SMS search in Nigeria. Note that each SMS costs 10 Naira from MTN. You must also send one search query per text message.

When using Google SMS you must make sure, you use relevant keywords in your search term. It is also a good idea to make searches as short as possible. For example to get word definition you should precede the word with the keyword define like define technology.
To get news precede the subject with keyword news like news Obama. To translate a word from English to another language precede word with keyword translate, do not forget to include the language the word should be translated to.
For example to translate technology to French, send translate technology in French to 4664. Discover what the time is in any city in the world using Google SMS. To receive the time in London, send Time London to 4664.
Make your search query as short as possible. For example instead of sending the search term what was the result of Chelsea match, simply send Score Chelsea.
