BlackBerry Pearl is a range of smartphones from RIM designed to meet both business and consumer applications. BlackBerry Pearl is available in two series, the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Series which is available in bar form and BlackBerry 8200 flip phone. Some standard features of BlackBerry Pearl smartphones include camera, wireless email, media player, Bluetooth, BlackBerry maps, and push email.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8100 series consists of the BlackBerry Pearl 8100, Pearl 8110, Pearl 8120, and Pearl 8130; while the Blackberry Pearl 8200 series consists of the BlackBerry Pearl 8220 and Pearl 8230. The major distinguishing factor of the two series is that while BlackBerry Pearl 8100 series phones are in bar form, BlackBerry Pearl 8200 series phones are in flip form.

BlackBerry Pearl 8130, 8220, and 8230 are preloaded with Blackberry maps while BlackBerry Pearl 8130 also adds assisted GPS.
