Design and Display

HP EliteBook 840 G1 bears resemblance to its brother devices, the 850 G1 and 820 G1. The case features both magnesium and aluminium in its design. The body of the laptop is made of magnesium, while aluminium is used for the keyboard area.

A minimalist design is used for the keyboard. At a thickness as low as 21 mm and weight starting at 1.58 kilograms, the EliteBook 840 G1 is obviously intended to be a mobile machine.
