Innjoo Leap4 is the fourth iteration of Innjoo’s line of affordable Windows tablets and a direct successor of the Innjoo Leap2. Inside, the hardware and software are essentially thesame as the Leap2 with 3G data built-in, but there are significant upgrades like a bigger battery, a more responsive touchscreen, autofocus for rear camera, and an all new HDMI port. The Design
Innjoo Leap4 comes with a slightly more refined design. For starters, the power button and volume rockers look more stylish and with their flatter design, they look like they will be easier to manipulate than the buttons on the 2nd iteration of the tablet.
Despite offering a bigger battery, the Innjoo Leap 4 is slightly slimmer than the Leap2. The SIM and memory card slots have been moved to the sides, which probably means that the back is probably sealed.
Unlike the Innjoo Leap3 that came with front facing dual-loudspeakers, the Innjoo Leap4 is sticking with the rear facing dual-loudspeakers of its predecessor. Front speakers are often great for watching movies as they are louder, so I would have preferred a front speaker in the Leap4.
Display and Cameras
Innjoo Leap4 offers essentially the same display as its predecessor, an 8.0-inch IPS Touchscreen with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. However, the touchscreen can sense 5 touch points on the screen at the same time compared to just two in the Leap2.
The camera is also largely the same with a 5 megapixels rear camera and a 2 megapixels camera. However, Innjoo Leap4 now boasts of autofocus for the rear camera.
Hardware & Software
The hardware and software is the same. Innjoo Leap 4 sports the same 1.33GHz Intel Bay Trail quad-core processor, Intel HD Graphics, 1 GB of RAM, and 16GB built-in storage. However, the memory card slot now supports twice more storage (64GB).
Innjoo Leap4 also offers Windows 8.1 OS and one year free subscription to Microsoft Office 365 for fast creation, editting, and viewing of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint documents.
One great addition to the Innjoo Leap4 is the built-in HDMI port, which means you can connect your tablet to your HDTV so you can enjoy your movies in your large screen TV.
