The Samsung JS8500 is a Smart TV series which runs on its South Korean manufacturer’s own open-source operating platform, Tizen. This software powers a handful of smartphones and wearables, especially those from Samsung.
The decision to use Tizen means you have TV sets that are more responsive than most previous Samsung Smart TV systems.
