Design and Screen
Toshiba Satellite L Series 17.3-inch looks practically similar to the new 15-inch laptop in the same series in terms of design. It looks slim and elegant with gold finish and sleek lines.
There is also the frameless, backlit TruType keyboard with a contoured key design for less bounce when typing. Lenovo Satellite L70 sports a 17.3-inch diagonal screen with up to Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The quality of the already-decent display can be improved further by configuring your own unit with an IPS panel.
Hardware and Windows 10
Buyers will be able to get units of the Toshiba Satellite L Series 17.3-inch powered by latest processors from either Intel or AMD. These chips will be accompanied by up to 16 GB of system memory (RAM).
The new Lenovo L70 Series laptops are designed for Windows 10 with hardware ready to help users tap into the full potentials of the new Microsoft operating system.
The Satellite L Series 17.3-inch comes with an inbuilt HD webcam and dual-array Toshiba TruTalk microphones to make it easier and more enjoyable using apps and features, such as Cortana digital personal assistant and Skype. There is even a dedicated Cortana key for faster access to the app.

Toshiba Satellite L70 is decked out to blast rich sound to users. It features stereo speakers whose sound quality is tuned by technology provided by audio experts Skullcandy. DTS technology is also used to further fine-tune the quality of sound produced.
For your storage needs, you get up to 1 TB of storage memory. The Toshiba Satellite L70 carries a battery its maker says should deliver up to five hours and 45 minutes of use. It has the usual assortment of ports, including USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and a memory card reader that supports up to 2TB cards.
Pricing and availability
Toshiba Satellite L70 laptops are not yet available in Nigeria, but will go on sale in the United States from July 29. Toshiba Satellite L70 price in Nigeria is expected to start around N115,000, depending on your location and the configuration of the laptop.
