Build and Screen
The mid-range smartphone boasts a premium feel with a body made of metal, just like the Marathon M5. It has a dimension of 155 x 76 x 9 millimetres and a weight of about 200 grams.
Gionee Marathon M5 Enjoy sports a 5.5-inch TFT IPS display – a downgrade when compared to the similar-size AMOLED display on the original device. The screen has the same HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of about 267 ppi for manageable clarity.
Camera and Storage
The main camera on Gionee Marathon M5 Enjoy has been downgraded to an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor, from the 13 megapixels on the Marathon M5. The selfie camera remains at 5 megapixels. Onboard storage of 16 GB is still what you get on this one, with the space being expandable by another 128 GB as well using a microSD card.

Processor, RAM and Operating System
You should expect a level of performance similar to what you got on the Gionee Marathon M5 since the same quad-core MediaTek processor is retained here, paired with a Mali-T720 graphics processor.
The CPU receives ample support from 3 GB of RAM for decent multitasking and high responsiveness. Gionee Marathon M5 Enjoy runs off its maker’s Amigo 3.1 OS, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop software.
Other Features
The phablet is equipped with a lower capacity 5000mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, which Gionee says will deliver an amazing 52 hours of talk time. It packs a fingerprint sensor in its home button and you supposedly can open the device in less than one second using this feature.
