The LG K7 is a new entry-level smartphone unveiled by its Korean maker at the ongoing CES 2016 at Las Vegas. It is one of first two offerings in LG’s K Series range of smartphones, which replaces the L series. The phone, which is also known as the LG Tribute 5, features a 5-inch display, capable cameras, a quad-core processor and LTE support.

Design and Display
Featuring a glossy pebble design, LG K7 has not been subjected to too many concessions in terms of appearance. It is designed to appeal to young users with its curved, contemporary finish. The rear sports an elaborate woven pattern to make for comfortable grip.
The look is well complemented by 2.5D Arc Glass for pronounced curvy feel. The K7 features a 5-inch diagonal display that gives sufficient room for enjoyable content viewing. However, a screen resolution of just 480 x 854 pixels is rather poor.
Camera and Storage
LG K7 offers decent pair of snappers for its price. The main snapper will feature either an 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel sensor, while the selfie camera will use a 5-megapixel sensor. With features such as Gesture Shot and Gesture Interval Shot, you should expect to capture some nice-looking images.
There is also a Flash for Selfie feature. Onboard storage will be either 8 GB or 16 GB, depending on variant bought. It is not clear if you will be able to expand storage allocation, but that is very likely.
Performance and OS
Under the hood, LG K7 will be equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, clocked at either 1.1 GHz or 1.3 GHz. The CPU comes with an Adreno 304 GPU and RAM of either 1GB or 1.5GB capacity. The budget smartphone will boot Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, which will expectedly be overlaid with LG’s own user interface.
Juice will be supplied to LG K7 by a 2,125mAh battery which looks like one to offer decent runtime. A variant of the device will support lightning-fast 4G connectivity, along with other options such as 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Pricing and Availability
LG K7 is not yet available in Nigeria. When available, you can buy it at leading online stores in the country. LG K7 Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N30,000 to N45,000 depending on your location in Nigeria.
