Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is the ‘Lite’ or stripped-down version of the awesome camera-focused Vibe S1 designed to appeal to more people on price. It is also a camera-focused smartphone that will appeal to selfie lovers, while also offering a Full HD display and promising impressive performance with an octa-core CPU under the hood.
Design and Display
The elegant glass rear of the Lenovo Vibe S1 has been omitted on its cheaper brother and is replaced by curved matte plastic. But it retains the aluminium frame for robustness. Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is thicker at 8.5 grams, but lighter at 129 grams.
Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite sports similar 5-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This touchscreen promises awesome colour reproduction and respectable wide viewing angles given its high resolution and use of IPS technology.
Camera
Lenovo Vibe S1 impressed greatly with what it offered in the camera department. The Vibe S1 Lite also does, but not at the same level. You still get the same awesome 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter with dual-tone LED flash, BSI sensor and phase detection autofocus.
But you no longer get the dual selfie snappers; only the 8-megapixel sensor is retained. However, the selfie camera comes with LED flash for great shots in low-light conditions.
Performance and OS
As for the innards, the Vibe S1 Lite is also equipped with an octa-core CPU for robust performance. But the MediaTek MT6753 processor is slower at 1.3 GHz, compared to the Vibe S1’s 1.7 GHz.
RAM of 2GB capacity is provided to keep things moving smoothly when using the phone. Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite boots Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, with this having the Chinese phone maker’s Vibe UI skin on top.
Other Features
Juice will be supplied to the phone by a 2,700mAh battery, which surprisingly bigger than what Lenovo Vibe S1 came with. The Vibe S1 Lite comes with ample 16 GB of onboard storage, expandable by up to 128 GB with a microSD card.
It also supports blazing-fast 4G LTE connectivity alongside 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS.

Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is not yet available in Nigeria. When available, you can buy it at leading online stores in the country. Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N45,000 to N55,000 depending on your location in Nigeria.
