The Micromax Canvas 6 is another of those metal-clad smartphones that have defied flagship pricing.
While this is not the first time we are seeing an all-metal offering in this range, this is the first Micromax phone to use the material.
The phablet packs in a massive 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This crystal-clear screen is overlaid with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Camera and Storage
A 13-megapixel camera will be found on the rear of the Micromax Canvas 6. The shooter features an f/2.0 lens, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. It can be used to capture 1,080p videos.
The selfie snapper uses a high-resolution 8-megapixel sensor for superb shots. Onboard storage capacity is sizeable at 32 GB and is expandable by up to 64 GB with the use of a microSD card.

Armed with an octa-core MediaTek MT6792 Helio X10 processor, the Micromax Canvas 6 looks ready to serve up solid performance.

Micromax Canvas 6 boots to Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and it is not certain if this is upgradeable. There will be Micromax’s Around UI skin on top.

The Micromax Canvas 6 looks like one to support decently long hours of use with a 3,000mAh battery. It comes with a fingerprint scanner – another first for a Micromax device.
