Design and Display
It may be said that the Micromax Canvas 6 Pro doesn’t quite justify its name, judging by the design material.
Although described by Micromax as parading a ‘thrilling design,’ the handset has a body made of plastic, compared to the metallic Canvas 6.
It does look sleek, though, and features ergonomic polymer grip for firm handling. The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro also crams in a 5.5-inch Fully Laminated Touch display having a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Camera and Storage
The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro phablet uses similar 13-megapixel rear camera as the Canvas 6. The shooter boasts 5P Largan Lens, phase detection autofocus, LED flash and Full HD (1,080p) video recording capability.
However, it features a lower-resolution 5-megapixel selfie snapper with a 85.7-degree wide-angle lens.
The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro also has lower internal storage of 16 GB, half of what is available on the standard variant. Storage expansion by up to 64 GB is supported using a microSD card.
Performance and OS
The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor described by Micromax as being ‘ridiculously powerful.’ The octa-core, 64-bit chipset zips along at a maximum speed of 2 GHz.
It is said to support Ultra HD 4K2K video encoding. The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro looks to deliver slightly more robust performance with the provision of 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. It boots Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Power is provided by a 3,000mAh Li-Ion battery rated capable of supporting up to nine hours in talk time.
Micromax Canvas 6 Pro supports 4G LTE connectivity for download speeds theoretically up to 10 times faster than 3G.
Available connectivity options also include Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The device comes with dual SIM card slots.
