Zuk Z2 Pro is the second smartphone model from the Lenovo-owned Zuk, coming after the Z1 released last year. This device has all it takes to ruffle the feathers of some flagship offerings on the market with its latest Qualcomm processor as well as colossal RAM and storage capacities.
Build and Display
The ZUK Z2 Pro flaunts a sleek design with pleasant curves in all the right places. It is a slim smartphone with a thickness of 7.5 millimetres.
It weighs manageably at about 145 grams. In comparison to the Zuk Z1, this device packs a smaller display measuring 5.2 inches diagonally.
But the screen resolution remains at Full HD (1,080p) meaning this Super AMOLED panel should offer more immersive visuals than is possible on the other device.
Camera
On the rear of the Zuk Z2 Pro is a 13-megapixel ISOCELL camera featuring f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilisation. Buyers can expect this shooter to produce spectacular shots.
It can be used for shooting stunning 4K videos. The 8-megapixel selfie snapper looks like one capable of delivering high quality images as well with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Zuk Z2 Pro carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor – the same chipset you will find in many new flagship devices. It joins the likes of the Vivo Xplay 5, Vernee Apollo and LeEco Le Max 2 in providing users with mammoth 6 GB of RAM.
Storage capacity is no less jaw-dropping at a whopping 128 GB. A stripped-down variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB onboard storage will also be made available later. The ZUK Z2 Pro boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Other Features
For a phone contesting with flagships, it is not overly surprising to see Zuk Z2 Pro offering a fingerprint scanner. It is loaded with sensors that make it a great device for monitoring your health.
The ZUK Z2 Pro offers a heart rate sensor and an altimeter amongst its sensor options. Its maker says it can be synced with iCloud.
A 3,100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 supports supplies juice needed to get the ZUK Z2 Pro going. The smartphone is 4G LTE-enabled (with VoLTE support) and has a USB Type-C port with USB 3.1 support.
Pricing and Availability
Zuk Z2 Pro is not yet available in Nigeria. When available, you can buy it at leading online stores in the country. Zuk Z2 Pro Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N100,000 to N170,000 depending on your location in Nigeria.
