Design and Build Quality
Like the other newly-announced x360 convertibles, the HP Pavilion 13 x360 flaunts a cool ‘digital threaded’ touch on its palm rest. This design is said to have been influenced by Nike Flyknit sneakers.
It interestingly uses similar metal hinge as the higher-end HP Spectre x360 for switching from notebook to tablet mode as well as all others in-between.
The hinge quality is impressive mainly because the bigger Pavilion 15 x360 uses a plastic hinge. The convertible is both thinner and lighter at 3.48 pounds and 19.8 millimetres respectively.
Display and Keyboard
The HP Pavilion 13 x360 (2016) sports a 13.3-inch diagonal screen. This display has standard HD resolution, but buyers can opt for an IPS unit with improved Full HD resolution. The hybrid is accompanied by a full-size keyboard offering 1.5mm key travel for more comfortable typing.

Like the bigger x360 convertible, this one offers optional backlighting for the keyboard. The trackpad is said to be now more responsive than it was on previous editions.

The HP Pavilion 13 x360 now comes in five colour options, namely: gold, silver, blue, red and purple. It is decked out to deliver immersive sound with audio tuning by Bang & Olufsen (B&O) PLAY.
