Alcatel A7 XL

Design and Display

This beast features an aluminium body, which is the least you can expect in this category these days. Alcatel A7 XL is somewhat thick at 8.7 millimetres and weighs in at 175 grams. It is available in metal gold, in addition to the metal black of the regular Alcatel A7.

The Alcatel A7 XL crams in a larger 6-inch LPTS IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass. This also has Full HD resolution (1080p) as the standard variant.

Camera

The Alcatel A7 XL loses the 16MP primary camera of the A7. In its place, you will find two sensors – 12MP and 2MP – working together to enable background blur effects. Camera features include dual tone flash and phase detection autofocus.

There is a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies. While this may not sound awesome, you can expect bright selfies with the provision of LED flash. Alcatel A7 XL also shoots Full HD (1080p) videos.

Hardware and Software

The Alcatel A7 XL uses somewhat similar processor as the A7. It features an octa-core MediaTek MT6750S processor. This has four cores running at 1.5 GHz and another four at 1.0 GHz. RAM capacity is 3 GB, which means you can enjoy decent degree of multitasking.

Onboard storage is 32 GB. It appears you will be able to expand this by just 32 GB. The software of choice here is Android 7.1 Nougat.

Other Specs and Features

Alcatel prefers to retain the same 4,000mAh juicer you will find in the A7 in this one as well. Alcatel A7 XL also appears to promise up to 18 hours of talk time. The juicer supports fast charging, though.

You will find a fingerprint sensor on the rear, below the primary shooters. The Alcatel A7 XL works on 4G LTE networks to enable highly enjoyable browsing experience.
