Design and Display
One thing that will almost immediately strike you about the Doogee X20 is its attractive look. This is despite the fact that the body seems to feature plastic. At 8.8 millimetres and 174 grams, it is slimmer and lighter than the X30 as well. You can also get it in silver, champagne or black colour.
Doogee X20 packs a smaller 5-inch IPS display, compared to the 5.5-inch panel on the Doogee X30. This supposedly boasts curved glass and an HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels.
Camera
You also get dual rear cameras on Doogee X20 and X20L, although not comparable to those of the X30. The device packs two 5MP sensors on its back. The combo is not awesome, but at least you get a bit of what is a selling point of several new flagships.
However, the selfie camera is rather measly at just 2 megapixels. The Doogee X20 is only capable of HD (720p) video recording as well.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, you find something similar to what the X30 packs. Doogee X20 comes with a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor that also runs at 1.3 GHz, while the Doogee X20L offers a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz. However, both smartphones offer 2 GB of RAM as well to ensure you enjoy decent performance.
You get 16GB onboard storage for keeping photos, songs and other stuffs. The Doogee X20 also takes a microSD card for storage expansion. It ships with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Other Features
A Li-Ion battery with capacity of 2,580 mAh takes care of juice and looks decent considering the 5-inch HD display. Connectivity features include microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. There is no 4G LTE in sight in the Doogee X20, but the Doogee X20L provides 4G LTE connectivity.
Pricing and Availability
Doogee X20 and X20L are not officially available in Nigeria, but you may be able to buy the phone from a third party seller at Jumia. The price starts at around $72.99 and $80 for the X20 and X20L respectively. Doogee X20 and X20L Price in Nigeria is expected to start at 27,000 Naira and 30,500 Naira respectively.
