Design
The HP Elitebook x360 1030 G7 is pretty thin at 1.61cm built using sleek silver aluminum with a matte finishing. It has a V-shaped back finishing and measures an overall dimension of 30.38 x 19.39 x 1.61 cm while weighing 1.21 kg. This is more compact than the HP EliteBook 1040 G7.
This convertible laptop is built with a 360° hinge, which allows you to access four different setup modes from laptop to tent, stand or tablet mode, thus, making it efficient for all working environment.
HP EliteBook 1030 G7 lid is smooth and easy to open. When opened there is a 13.3-inches screen with the “diamond-cut” visual design, similar to that of the Spectre series which reduces the thickness of the bottom bezel 11 mm off the length of the chassis. The top bezel house a 720p HD camera for IR face recognition system and the bottom host the company logo.
This HP laptop measures an overall screen to body ratio of 89-percent, which makes it look much more modern.
Keyboard
HP EliteBook x360 1030 G7 also has a light and compact chassis which host the full sized spill-resistant backlit keyboard, thus, leaving a narrower bottom “chin” bezel than its predecessor.

The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G7 has three display options. This includes a 13.3″ diagonal FHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that gives you a clear display and a Sure View privacy screen to protect on-screen information from prying eyes.
This multitouch-enabled laptop display has an edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass protection and offers up to 1000 nits of maximum brightness and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This display also has 16:9 aspect ratio displays.
Similarly, there is a premium model with a touchscreen 13.3-inch 4K UHD OLED display and brightness level up to 400 nits with HDR400 and 550 nits of brightness. This model has a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and viewing angle of 85°.
