Design and Display
The Oppo Reno5 Z has a nice body design that is built with a combination of plastic and glass. The handset packs a smooth panel that is home to the camera’s setup and an LED flash. It has 160.1 x 73.4 x 7.8mm and weighs around 173 grams.
On the front, it comes with a screen display size of 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole that offers an impressive Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It also packs a 20:9 aspect ratio, 430nits brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 135Hz to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner plus a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent.
Cameras
For capturing photos, the Oppo Reno5 Z is blessed with a 16-megapixel for selfies with Face ID and HDR. The primary camera on the back includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 119-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and a 2-megapixel for macro shooting.
The camera features LED flash, HDR, panorama and it can shoot 4K videos quality as well.
Hardware and Software
The Oppo Reno5 Z has a Dimensity 800U chipset under the hood based on 7nm process technology. The octa-core processor on the other hand is handling its assignment at a speed of 2×2.4 GHz coupled with Mali-G57 MC3 graphics.
The handset will perform great with the help of 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a native storage of 128GB. Sadly the phone does not offer support for a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
