Design and Display
The design language hasn’t really changed, as it’s possible to pick a lot of similarities between the OnePlus Nord N200 5G and its predecessor. However, there are a few changes that make both designs different.
Let’s begin with the rear, here we have a gradient system with a dark and a bright colour which is pretty much the par for the course on most smartphones.
The Camera module style on this device isn’t very far-fetched from what we had on the former, just that here we have a more conspicuous design, where the cameras aren’t as crammed as we had on the Nord N100.
Moving away from the camera module, we notice the absence of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as seen on the N100, as the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the side.
Moving up front, we find a 6.49 inch LTPS IPS LCD, which is slightly smaller than the 6.5-inch display on its predecessor. This display bears a punch-hole camera just like its predecessor.
The OnePlus N200 5G tops with a richer resolution and a high density that reads 1080 x 2400 pixels and ~406 PPI respectively. As opposed to 720 x 1600 pixels and ~269 PPI on the N100.
The Cameras
The cameras on the OnePlus Nord N200 5G are a reminisce of the N100 for the most part, however, we have a higher resolution front camera with a 13MP sensor, as opposed to the 8MP front camera on the rear.
Moving on to the rear, we have the same setup as seen on the former, its reads: a 13MP primary camera with an aperture of f/2.2, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera, both with an aperture of f/2.4.
Hardware and Software
On the performance side, the OnePlus Nord N200 5G rocks the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor, in lieu of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor on its predecessor. We also have the Adreno 619 processor as opposed to the Adreno 610 on the N100.
The rest of the performance facilitators are basically a reminisce. Here we have 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, a non-removable 5000mAh Li-Po battery, and an 18W fast charge mechanism.
On the software side, we have the OxyGenOS 11 running on the Android 11 operating system.
