The Itel P40 boasts a stylish design with a body made of plastic, available in a range of attractive color options. It has a textures finish, giving it a premium feel. On the front, the P40 has a large 6.6-inch glass display which speed around the front panel, leaving behind slim bezels on the sides and top, with a slightly thicker bezel at the bottom.

The 6.6-inch IPS screen delivers visuals with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. It offers a decent viewing experience, allowing for clear and vibrant content. Additionally, the display boasts a 120Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smooth and responsive touch interactions, enhancing the overall usability and navigation of the device.

Furthermore, the back of the android phone features a camera module,  at the top left corner which host the dual camera lens, dual LED flash and a fingerprint scanner.
