Battery life is a big head-ache for mobile users, but this week Samsung announced its working on a respite. The South Korean company revealed it is working on a technology that will double the battery life of the Li-ion battery.

According to reports Samsung researchers used graphene to enhance the battery density, achieving 1.5 to 1.8 times the battery density of normal Li-ion battery.

Samsung had another cheering news this week as it announced it sold over 1 million Tizen-powered Z1 Smartphones since January 2015. This is a promising start for the new operating system considering that the figure is only for the Indian market, the only country to grace the Samsung Z1.

Samsung also began pushing Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) update to more of its Samsung Galaxy line. The Galaxy S6 Duos started getting Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) updates this week.
