Samsung Series 6 (650 series) is a range of full HD LCD television from the world leading home electronics brand. Series 6 is one of the most recent Samsung LCD TV range and is an improvement on previous series 5 and series 4. Samsung series 6 like all other previous ranges come in different screen sizes. Samsung series 6 is full HD with 1080 progressive lines (1080p). This is a great picture resolution offering you great picture quality and clarity (better viewing experience for your DVD and Blu-ray players).

Samsung A650 is fitted with four HDMI sockets, which is an improvement from previous series that had three (for series 5) and two or three (for series 4). HDMI interface enables users benefit from the full HD capability of a television. Such an interface can be used to connect a DVD player, a Blu-ray player digital satellite TV decoder, and camcorders to your HDTV.

This Samsung LCD TV comes with 120Hz motion plus to reduce image blur. This picture enhancement technology is added in screen sizes of 37 inches and above.

Dynamic contrast ratio for the 32-inch and the 37-inch models is 15,000:1. Higher screen size models offer even more at 50,000:1.

Series 7 (A750) which comes with a 1 GB internal flash drive enabling you store your media on your TV.

Series 5 (Samsung A550), boasts of four HDMI 1.3 interfaces, TOC bezel, RSS feeds, Ethernet port, and auto motion plus 120Hz image interpolation.

Samsung Series 4 (A450) comes with 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and three HDMI 1.3 inputs.

Samsung Series 3 comes with 8000:1 for high-end models and 3000:1 for lower end models. Also available in series 3 include two HDMI 1.3 interfaces, 6ms response time, and wide colour enhancer technology.

Samsung series 8 and series 9 due for release in 2009 (next year).
