Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an upgraded Galaxy Tab tablet with a larger display. Unlike the original Galaxy Tab, which features a 7.0-inch display, the new Galaxy Tab comes with a 10.1-inch display, hence the name. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 runs Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb, an OS specifically designed for tablets. Like Motorola Xoom (another Android 3.0 based tablet), Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 possessor and 1GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is designed for super-fast performance. It features a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 possessor, which combines with a 3D graphics engine to offer super-fast performance and superior mobile communications and entertainment experience. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features 1GB RAM, which will speedup performance and make it great in multitasking.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be running the first Android OS to be specifically targeted on tablet computers. The Android 3.0 Honeycomb offers a user interface optimised for tablet computers and gadgets with large displays. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, thanks to Android 3.0 will feature Google Maps 5 with 3D interactions, improved multitasking, and offline reliability. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will also have access to over 100,000 apps at Android Market plus access to over 3 million ebooks at Google eBooks.

The rear facing camera of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an 8 megapixel camera with HD video recording capability. Other features of the camera include Autofocus, LED Flash, and so on.
