There are very little new stuff that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is bringing to the table. It is more a less a refresh of the previous generation. So, if you are currently using a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, there are very few incentive to go for the Galaxy Tab 3.
However, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 offers more security features that will make it very appealing to enterprise customers. With the addition of Samsung for Enterprise (SAFE), which features on-device encryption and VPN support, the Galaxy Tab 3 will offer more security to users. The IR-blaster is also another notable advantage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 still offers the same 7.0-inch touch display with the same 600 x 1024 pixels resolution. The camera is not any different either; it is still 3.15 megapixels rear camera, though the resolution of the front facing camera has been tripled.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with slightly more power, spotting a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. It also feature a newer version of Android (though not the latest version), the Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). The Galaxy Tab 3 offers the same data capability of the previuos generation and can still handle voice calls and SMS, just like the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
