In January, there was a rumour about the Nokia Lumia EoS, a new range of Nokia WP8 smartphones expected to feature a similar Pureview camera as on the Nokia 808 Pureview and possibly come in an aluminium body. Well the Nokia Lumia EoS is back in the news again. Reason? A new device with model Nokia Lumia 1000 was spotted in the China Mobile phone lists.
No one is quite sure whether the Nokia Lumia 1000 is the Lumia EoS. However, going by Nokia’s new policy of naming phones in order of their sophistication, it is safe to expect the Nokia Lumia 1000 to come with a more prestigious specs than the Nokia Lumia 920. This is probably the main reason many tech blogs are linking the new Lumia device to the Lumia EoS.
Is Nokia Lumia 1000 the same as the Nokia Lumia EoS? We might not wait very long to find out. Nokia is expected to make a big announcement on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Hopefully by the end of that event, the picture will be clearer.
