Cheap Android Phone
Those who are fond of photography will be happy with this phone. The P2 came with just a 2 megapixels camera, so a 5 megapixels camera on the Gionee Pioneer P2S will be well appreciated. powered with 5 MP Front camera and enabled with 0.3 MP secondary Back camera. Note that the camera is basic an lacking some of the fancy features, but still images are of good quality for the price point. Gionee Pioneer P2S features a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera.
Gionee Pioneer P2S runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which works smoothly, providing a responsive and smooth user experience. Under the hood there is a 1.3GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM which puts the handset in a reasonable performance range. As expected for an entry level phone, it can be slow under heavy usage, but it’s performance is pretty good for an entry level handset.
There is a 4 GB internal memory on board and you can back that up with a further 32GB via microSD card. Gionee Pioneer P2S boosts of a 4-inch touch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It boasts of vivid colors and decent viewing angles, even if it is not quite the show stopping AMOLED screen found on more expensive phones.
