Amazon Fire Phone scores high on cameras. It offers a 13 megapixels rear camera and powerful f/2.0 lens with optical image stabilization. Of the 5 front cameras, one is the regular 2.1 MP front camera for selfies and videocalling, while the other 4 are part of the Firefly and Dynamic Perspective features.
Dynamic Perspective basically adds 3D depth to your onscreen graphics on the Amazon Fire Phone. Firefly scans any products, objects from the real world and searches for it on Amazon’s database, offering the price with opportunity to buy from the Amazon store. If it’s a not a product, Firefly will guide to a Wikipedia page for more information about the object. Firefly can also scan QR codes and bar codes.
On the hardware side, Amazon Fire Phone is powered with 2.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor, Adreno 330 graphics and 2 GB RAM. It offers 4G LTE connectivity but runs on the earlier Amazon Fire OS 3.5.0. You can pick up the phone in 32 GB or 64 GB versions.
The 2,400 mAh battery gives you 11 hours of video playback. Amazon Fire Phone features a 4.7 inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels and is available with 32GB or 64GB storage.
Amazon bundles a free 12-month membership to its Prime service that offers 33 million titles of music, movies, and TV shows and free shipping on products bought from Amazon’s store.
