The first generation Hot series smartphone was launched back in 2014. Since then several generations of the smartphone series has been released. The latest iteration is the Infinix Hot 5 a 5.5-inch smartphone running on Android 7.0 with 2GB RAM, fingerprint sensor, and a massive 4000 mAh battery.
There is also a stripped version, the Infinix Hot 5 Lite, which drops the fingerprint sensor and reduces the RAM to 1GB.
An Infinix Hot 5 Pro with LTE is also being expected.
Hardware and Software
Infinix Hot promises a solid performance with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It features 16GB storage, but lack a microSD slot for storage expansion.
The 5-inch IPS display offers 480 x 840 pixels resolution with decent viewing angles. Infinix Hot sports a 5 megapixels camera on the back and a 2 megapixels camera on the front. The back is textured for a solid grip.
