LG G2 Lite was announced around the same time as the LG L Prime, and we don’t know why LG returned to the G2 nomenclature for the budget-friendly device. Perhaps it’s the case that the company wants to revive the G2 excitement which led to a turn around for the Korean manufacturer.

The LG G2 Lite has a smaller display (4.5 inches) compared to G2 Mini (4.7 inches). The display features a 480 x 800 pixels screen resolution (207ppi). LG G2 Lite runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat).
As for the processor, LG G2 Lite is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory storage expansion. There’s a VGA front-facing camera, and LG stuck with an 8 megapixels rear camera on the G2 Lite – though it can’t handle 720p video recording, just 480p Video.
The LG G2 Lite, along with the LG L Prime, is now available in Brazil. The LG G2 Lite will cost 615 Brazilian Reals ($269USD), around the same amount as the LG L Prime (which looks to be somewhere around 750 Brazilian Reals, or $275USD). LG says that the G2 Lite and the L Prime will be available in other markets outside of Brazil, but US citizens should not expect to see these devices.
After all, LG still got its G2 on sale here in the US, alongside of the new and improved LG G3 – and the company’s Nexus 5 device will compete fairly with Motorola’s inexpensive Moto G and Moto E offerings. The device will prove to be the perfect hand size for some, and LG’s usual Knock Code and other software features will find their way to the G2 Lite as well.
Pricing and availability
LG G2 Lite is targeted for Brazil and is not yet available in Nigeria. However, when available the LG G2 Lite Price in Nigeria is expected to range between N45,000 to N55,000, depending on your location.
