Dell Latitude 12 Rugged is built for people who work in extreme work environments, such as a quarry, an oil rig or a military base. The ruggedness of the slate is somehow backed up by its MIL-STD-810G and IP-810G certifications as well as an IP-65 rating for water and dust resistance.
Dell Latitude 12 Rugged has supposedly survived a drop-test from a height of 180 cm. The suitability of the tablet for extreme environments is further confirmed with an 11.6-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The screen, which has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, is designed to respond to touch even when you have thick gloves on or your hand is wet. This display also offers great outdoor viewing.
