The new Redmi 2 Prime is the result of a collaboration between Chinese tech company Xiaomi and Taiwanese firm Foxconn. The affordable Android Phone, which is Xiaomi’s first phone to be made in India, features an IPS HD display, a quad-core processor, ample RAM, generous storage memory, and 4G LTE support.

The screen is protected with scratch-resistant Dragontrail glass. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime is equipped with an 8-megapixel main camera with an F2.2 aperture size, LED flash, autofocus, and a back-illuminated sensor to help you take some spectacular shots.

A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with ARM Cortex-A53 cores runs the show on Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime. The 64-bit processor, which is clocked at 1.4 GHz, is assisted by ample RAM of 2GB capacity and an Adreno 306 graphics processor.
The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, which is the minimum we expect to see on devices these days. The OS is overlaid with Xiaomi’s MIUI 6 user interface.
