The Neo 7 is an attractive new offering in Oppo’s Neo range of smartphones. The device features a chic design, a 5-inch display, a quad-core Qualcomm processor and 4G LTE support.
Design and Display
Featuring a magnesium aluminium alloy body, Oppo Neo 7 flaunts a streamlined, premium design. It is svelte, but not as much as the higher-end Oppo R7S, at a thickness of approximately 7.6 millimetres.
The phone weighs a little over 140 grams and features individual cut-glass sections and an attractive finish of either gold or silver. It sports a 5-inch TFT LCD display with a bit disappointing qHD resolution of 540 x960 pixels.
Camera and Storage
Oppo Neo 7 is fitted with an 8-mehapixel primary camera with a wide f/2.0 lens, up to 1/4-inch photosensitive area and back-illuminated sensor for awesome images. You should expect to capture some awesome shots using the 5-megapixel front-facing camera, backed up by Screen Flash.
Onboard storage memory is 16 GB and there is a microSD card slot for expanding storage space by up to an additional 128 GB.
Performance and OS
Running the show on the Oppo Neo 7 is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which paces along at speeds of up to 1.2 GHz. The chip receives support from a rather meagre 1 GB of RAM.
The phone boots its maker’s latest software, ColorOS 2.1, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop mobile operating system. The platform is supposedly engineered for more power and better memory management, amongst other benefits.
Miscellaneous Specs
Juice is supplied to the Oppo Neo 7 by a non-removable 2420mAh Lithium-polymer battery. The phone comes in 3G and 4G versions, with the latter variant enabling users enjoy the best of mobile data speeds.
Connectivity options also include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The Neo 7 has a dual-SIM feature to allow you use two SIM cards concurrently.

Oppo Neo 7 is not yet available in Nigeria. We currently have no data on pricing and availability. If and when available, Oppo Neo 7 Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N25,000 to N45,000 at launch.
