The new device has gone official in Tunisia as the branded version of the Oppo F17 phone that was debuted last month in India. It has 6.44 inches display size, 16 MP main camera, and 128GB storage.

Design and Display
There is some similarity between the Oppo A73 and the Oppo F17 smartphones. However, both differ mostly on the panel color availability. The Oppo A73 is available in Navy Blue and Classic Silver colors.
It maintains the same smooth panel housing the square cameras setup and an LED flash. It has an under-display fingerprint scanner and measures 159.8 x 72.9 x 7.5 mm and 163 grams.
The device packs a waterdrop notch display of 6.44 inches. It makes use of an AMOLED screen that produces a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 180Hz refresh rate.
Apart from the in-screen fingerprint scanner, it has Gorilla Glass 3 protection and offers a screen space of 90.7 percent.
Cameras
There is a Sony IMX471 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfie shots on the Oppo A73. The square-shaped camera on the back is housing a 16-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 119-degree FOV, and a pair of 2-megapixel mono lenses.
The shooter can record 1080p@30fps and it has an LED flash for night shots.
Hardware and Software
The Oppo A73 is powered by a Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 chipset based on 11nm bit. The chip also has an octa-core processor clocking at a maximum speed of 2.3 GHz.
It has Adreno 610 GPU for graphics and runs on an Android 10 operating system with ColorOS 7.2 preinstalled. It has 6GB RAM paired with 128 GB of UFS 2.0 storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
Battery and Network
The android phone is backed by a 4,015mAh battery that supports VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging. It comes with a dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Oppo A73 will sell at a price of around $309 which converts to about 120,000 Naira. In Ghana, it sells for 1,900 Ghs and 35,000 Ksh in Kenya.
