Like the Wiko Ufeel it features a premium metal design and fingerprint sensor, but offers a more brilliant display with a more powerful octa-core processor and 33% more memory, which should make it a high performer.

The Design

The Wiko Ufeel Prime features a sleek metal design. It drops the sandstone finish of the standard Ufeel model for a smoother soft touch aluminium body. Wiko Ufeel comes in three colours, namely: Anthracite, Silver and Gold.

Display and Camera

Wiko Ufeel Prime offers a 5-inch IPS Display, just like the Wiko Ufeel Lite and the Ufeel, but it now packs more pixels. Unlike the earlier two models that featured 720 x 1280 pixels, the Wiko Ufeel Prime comes with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution for a more brilliant view.

The display is also brighter with 460 nits, which should offer improved view outdoors. The display is fully laminated with 2.5D curved glass.

Wiko Ufeel Prime sports a 13 megapixels rear camera and an 8 megapixels front facing camera. You also get a dual-LED flash for the rear camera and an LED flash for the front camera.

Hardware and Software

Wiko Ufeel Prime is dropping Mediatek chipset for the more prestigious Qualcomm chipset. The smartphone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, which offers a 1.4GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 505 GPU. The phone is loaded with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and 4GB of RAM.

This should make the Wiko Ufeel Prime a top performer. You should expect it to perform well for gaming. With the specs, the performance should be smooth. Wiko Ufeel Prime offers 32GB built-in storage.

The Android phone supports up to 64GB microSD card, but you will have to sacrifice the secondary SIM slot. Wiko Ufeel Prime offers two Nano SIM slots. You also get a fingerprint sensor with the feature that allows you assign different actions to different fingers.

The smartphone features high-speed 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0 (with USB on the Go), and Wi-Fi b/g/n. Wiko Ufeel Prime sports 3000 mAh Li-Po battery and boasts of up to 21 hours talktime.

Pricing and Availability

The smartphone will launch in Europe in November for €249.99. Wiko Ufeel Prime is not yet available in Nigeria, Ghana, or Kenya. When available, you can buy the Android phone at leading online stores in the countries. Wiko Ufeel Prime price in Nigeria is expected to range from 90,000 Naira to 150,000 Naira.

Price in Ghana should start at around GH₵ 1125. Wiko Ufeel Prime Price in Kenya is expected at around 29,000 KSh.
