Design and Display
The Moto E-series is basically a budget series from the company that features a decent body design that will raise many heads. The body is made of plastic which somehow reeks of an entry-level device despite the large display size.
It measures 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.6 mm in dimensions and weighs 149 grams. The smooth panel house the camera with an LED flash. Beneath the branded logo is the fingerprint scanner for security.
On the front, the Moto E6 Plus packs a large 6.1-inch display with a waterdrop notch and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels with 282 PPI density. It makes use of a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The screen is LCD and it carries curved display protection.
Camera
For photography, the Moto E6 Plus features a vertical dual-camera setup nested at the top left corner of the panel. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor with an f/2 aperture while the second camera is a 2MP depth sensor.
At the front, you will get an 8MP selfie camera with f/2 aperture for capturing cool selfies. The front camera will be assisted by a screen flash when shooting in darker spaces.
Hardware and Software
A mid-range MediaTek Helio P22 chipset is at the heart of the Moto E6 Plus. The SOC has a 12nm built-in efficient technology with an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 2.0 GHz.
The phone has PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics and gaming. It’s powered by the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The inbuilt storage is 32GB plus 2GB RAM and another model with a bigger 4GB and 64GB. You can still expand the memory using a micro SD card up to 128GB.
Battery and Network
The Moto E6 Plus has a removable battery capacity of 3000 mAh with fast charging technology. The juicer should be able to last a full day in a single charged.
It has a 4G LTE Network for fast browsing and downloads. There is no 3.5mm audio jack on the phone and it features micro-USB connector for charging and other activities. Other connectivity options include GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi. There is also an FM radio onboard.
