Design
The HP EliteBook 845 G7’s silver aluminum chassis is slender with nicely rounded curves and edges. It has plastic bars and frames. Measuring a dimension of 12.7 x 8.5 x 0.7 inches and weighing 3 pounds, the laptop is light enough to slip in and out of your handbag all day long.
Thanks to the shape of the laptop’s front lip, it makes the display lid easy to open with one hand. On the inside, the flat lid host the 14-inch screen with thin bezels around it. Inside the top bezel sits a 720p webcam with privacy shutter and proximity sensor to provide more security via facial recognition. Also, the slightly thicker bottom bezel have HP logo inscribed.
This laptop has a hinge that helps prevent it from lifting up when being opened. The lid hold the lid and the base together.
HP EliteBook 845 G7 base chassis host a remarkably comfortable backlit keyboard and touchpad. The rubber Chiclet-style keys give a reasonable travel distance for efficient performance.
There is also a smooth, responsive and accurate touchpad, measuring 4.3 x 2.8-inch which is large enough to allow you navigate and direct your cursor.

The 845 G7 is also available with Sure View protection, although, it is optional. It can be controlled with the press of a button for visual protection.
