Design
Similar to HP ZBook Studio G7 and ZBook Create G7, this laptop is light and thin at 19.2mm and 1.75 kg weight, with a body made out of aluminum. It is durable yet rugged enough to withstand the brutal MIL-STD 810G tests which help ensure it can withstand your everyday workload.
At first glance, this laptop is a beauty to behold with ZBook logo “Z“perfectly inscribed in the middle on the lid instead of the regular HP logo. The lid is easy to open even with a single hand.
When opened, this lid house the 15.6-inch screen with thin bezels around the matte display and an HD Webcam with IR face recognition. The slim bottom bezel also have a clearly inscribed HP logo.
The HP ZBook Firefly 15 G7 base host a backlit enabled spill-resistance keyboard with decent key travel, a full-sized NumberPad on the left, and a Nipple positioned in between the G, H, B keypad.
Above the full sized keyboard is a dual audio speaker tuned by Bang & Olufsen for immersive audio experience.
There is also a Microsoft’s Precision a glass-surfaced touchpad with two dedicated buttons and enough palm rest for easy navigation and impressive typing experience.
Above all for interface connection, on the left side of the device is a USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) port, an audio jack, and a Smart Card reader.
