The Infinix Hot 30 is an elegant mid-range smartphone that offers a good balance of performance, features, and battery life. This phone was launched alongside the Infinix Note 30i and the Infinix Note 30 Pro. It has a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display, a triple-camera system on the back and 5000 mAh battery. The Infinix Note 30 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs Android 13 with XOS on top.

Infinix Note 30

Design and Display

The Infinix Note 30 has a stunning design with flat glossy sides and a matte-finished rear panel. It is the first Infinix Note smartphone with glass back. This phone has square shape build which measures a dimension of 168.6 x 76.6 x 8.6 mm while weighing just 219 g, thus ensuring a lightweight and comfortable user experience.

Furthermore, the Note 30 comes with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display at the front. The phone has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera and ultra-thin bezels around the screen, allowing for a nearly edge-to-edge display.

The Infinix Note 30 large display offers a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels for sharp and vibrant visuals, with a pixel density of approximately 396 ppi. It also features a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring fluid and responsive on-screen transitions. Additionally, with a peak brightness of 580 nits, the Note 30 delivers excellent visibility even under bright lighting conditions.

When flipped over, you’ll get a smooth rear panel with glossy finish. On the top left corner, there is camera island with three camera lens and a LED flash. Around the cameras, there is a special glow finish around the camera that gives it a premium feel. At the bottom edge at the left sits the Infinix branding.

Additionally, the Infinix Note 30 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that provides an extra layer of security, allowing users to unlock their phone with just a touch. The phone comes in four colours including Obsidian Black, Interstellar Blue, Sunset Gold.


The Infinix Note 30 comes with a triple-camera setup on the back. It features a 64 MP wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/1.7, a 1/2″ sensor size, and 0.7µm pixel size, enabling high-resolution and detailed photography.

Additionally, it includes a 2 MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, allowing for depth effects and enhanced portrait shots. The rear camera setup is complemented by a QVGA camera, which provides additional functionality and creative options. The main lens also features Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), ensuring faster and more accurate focusing for sharper and clearer images.

Similarly, the camera setup also features Quad-LED flash and supports various modes and features, such as Night mode, Pro mode, Panorama mode, and HDR mode. It also supports 1440p video recording at 30 frames per second (fps) and 1080p video recording at up to 60 fps.

On the front, this infinix phone has a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, which is located in a punch-hole cutout in the center of the screen. The front camera supports various features such as AI beauty, Portrait mode, and Night mode, and can record 1080p video at up to 30 fps.

Hardware and Software

The Infinix Note 30 is powered by the MediaTek MT8781 Helio G99 chipset, built on the 6nm process. This is the same chipset we saw in the Tecno Camon 20 Pro, the Infinix Note 12 Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G.

It boasts an octa-core CPU configuration, consisting of two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Additionally, the device features the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which offers efficient graphics processing for a smooth and immersive visual experience.

The Note 30 has two storage variants, including 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Both variants use UFS 2.1 storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot.

For battery life, there is a 5000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing for quick and convenient recharging.

In addition, Infinix Note 30 runs on the latest Android 13 operating system with XOS user interface on top. The Note 30 customized user interface provides additional features and enhancements compared to stock Android. With XOS, you have the ability to customize themes, app icons, and fonts, allowing you to personalize your device.

For connectivity, this device comes with 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC. It also sports a USB Type-C Port (USB 2.0) for fast charging and wired communications.
