The Infinix Smart 8 is an android smartphone that was launched in November 2023, succeeding the last year’s Smart 7 HD. It’s a budget-friendly device with a 6.6-inch HD+ display, a Unisoc T606 processor, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It also has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery.

Design and Display

The Infinix Smart 8 has a simple, clean design with minimal bezels around the display. The back panel is made of plastic which keeps the weight down with a textured finish that helps with grip. While plastic doesn’t offer the same level of protection as metal or glass, the textured finish provides some scratch resistance. It’s important to use a case for additional protection, especially if you’re prone to dropping your phone.

Meanwhile, the Smart measures a dimension of 163.6 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm which is only slightly thicker compare to most budget-friendly smartphones, but the textured back finish could help with grip. Furthermore, the device weight just 184 g.
