Earlier in February, we reported the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch for March 15. Well, we can now confirm it will come a day early on March 14 at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York. This is based on an update on the official Samsung Mobile Twitter account. A number of blogs have also started reporting that Samsung has started sending invitation to the Samsung Galaxy S4 event. Samsung Galaxy S4

Galaxy S4 is Samsung’s flagship phone for 2013, replacing the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Tweet on the Samsung Mobile Twitter account reads “March 14. Ready 4 the show? #UNPACKED” with a link pointing to the photo shown above.

Samsung has not announced when the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available, but will still stick to our earlier report of April, 2013 availability.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Rumoured Specs

We cannot at this point confirm the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S4, but according to rumoured specs, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to feature an 8-core processor (Samsung Exynos processor) or the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset and 2GB RAM. It is also expected to features a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED Display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).

It is expected to come with a 13MP Camera. Samsung Galaxy S4 is also expected to be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage models with microSD support. It will come with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
