Business cannot wait most of the time that is why airlines allow for flight rescheduling. But a number of airline have made rescheduling flights easier offering it as part of the services on their online flight booking platforms, making it easier for travelers to reschedule their flights online.
Of course, you can call your travel agent or airline to reschedule your flight, but rescheduling online is more convenient. Flight rescheduling enables you change the date of your flight. Of the six Nigerian airlines we currently track; namely Air Peace, Aero airlines, Dana air, FirstNation airways, Arik air, and Air Nigeria, three seem to have features to allow customers reschedule flights online. It is a good idea to reschedule flights several hours before boarding time. For online flight rescheduling, doing so 4 hours to 24 hours is not a bad idea. How to Reschedule flights online
To reschedule a flight online, visit the website of airline you booked the flight with. Look for a booking link. Some airlines have their flight rescheduling engine as part of their flight booking engine. To reschedule your flight, the airline’s online platform will normally request your last name/surname and your booking reference/confirmation number.

Enter these two information and click the appropriate button to start the rescheduling process. You will receive an on-screen confirmation and/or an email confirmation, if you successfully rescheduled the flight.
Note that all airlines allow customers reschedule flight, but not all will enable you do so online. For some you have to call the airline to reschedule your flight. Now let’s see how you can reschedule your flight online with some of the airlines we track.
How to reschedule Arik Air flight online
Arik Air also appears to have a booking management facility on their website, but we cannot confirm if flight rescheduling is incorporated. You can try it out at Arik Air website: arikair.com. Like the others your last name and booking reference will be required.
If you are having problem rescheduling your flight online, call your travel agent or airline to reschedule the flight manually rather than wait endlessly. Remember, time is of essence when it comes to rescheduling flights.
How to Reschedule Air Peace Flight Online
To reschedule an Air Peace flight, just visit the website on click on the Manage My Booking Tab. You will be required to enter your surname and booking reference and click the OK button. You can now reschedule your flight.
How to Reschedule Dana air flight online
To reschedule your Dana air flight, visit their website. Then point the mouse pointer on the Booking menu, some links will appear below the button, click modify/cancel link to open the flight rescheduling engine, which is part of the booking engine.
Make sure the modify tab is selected on the small form to the right of the flight booking section. Enter your last name and confirmation number in the appropriate fields and click login to start rescheduling your flight. If successful, you will receive confirmation.

How to reschedule Aero air flight online
Aero air was one of the first Nigerian airlines to allow customers to reschedule flights online. To reschedule your Aero air flights, visit their website. Then point the mouse pointer on the Booking menu, some links will appear below the button, click view/change booking, this will open the flight rescheduling engine.
The flight rescheduling engine has a form with two fields. Enter your surname/last name (as in your booking) and your booking reference in the appropriate form fields and click the Continue button to continue flight rescheduling. At the end of the process, you will receive an email confirmation if the flight rescheduling was successful.

How to reschedule FirstNation airways flight online
FirstNation airways is a relatively new airline but seems to have facility for rescheduling flights online, though we cannot confirm that. On the firstnation airway homepage, there is a manage booking tab.
If you click on the tab it requests for your Surname and booking reference. Enter the requested information and click OK and see what happens.

How to reschedule Air Nigeria flight online
Like FirstNation airways, Air Nigeria appears to also have a facility to allow customers reschedule flights online. This we believe can be done through the Manage My Booking facility on the website, although we cannot confirm that.
To reschedule Air Nigeria flights, visit Air Nigeria website and click on the Booking Center menu, then click on the Manage My Booking on the right sidebar. Enter your last name and booking reference and click Retrieve Booking and see what happens.
